on-site machining of screening drum

Prime Machine Inc. field machining capabilities are unmatched building a portable lathe to turn a monster part twenty two feet in diameter, over sixty feet in length weighing three hundred eight six thousand pounds and then machine this large part to the precision of a jeweler or watchmaker.  The project included the design and engineering of the machine as well as the actual machining of this large Krupp Polyisus Screen drum used in the Canadian Tar Sands project.  These drums are the size of bridges and we rotate them between centers and machine the faces.  THERE ARE ONLY ONE OR TWO COMAPINES IN THE WORLD THAT WOULD ATTEMPT AND COMPLETE SUCH A PROJECT WE ARE WORLD CLASS IN ABILITY.
